| Outline and Purpose of the Course | The purpose of Japanese river projects and agricultural rural development cooperation in developing countries, and their impact on the water environment are explained, by introducing the examples. Habitat evaluation and fishway development for rare species, Tomiyo, and the development of fishways for freshwater fish around paddy fields are introduced. | |||

Habitat evaluation of rare species Tomiyo (Nine-spined stickleback) 4. Fishway development for Tomiyo 5. Study on Tomiyo's ascent behaviors 6. Field monitoring of the fishway for Tomiyo 7. Development of fishways for freshwater fish around paddy fields 8. Summary and report writing |
