Outline and Purpose of the Course Under the theme of "The global trends in issues on climate change and natural resources", lectures and exercises will be conducted about forest & land use management/landscape restoration in developing economies, climate change mitigation/adaptation, biodiversity conservation in practice.
Course Goals Participants are expected to enhance their unedrstanding regarding recent global developments related to sustainable forest and other natural resource management in the developing world, in relation to international politics on climate-change adaptation and mitigation.

Evaluation Methods and Policy The grade will be determined in an integrative manner on the basis of attendance, active participation, and assignments. The evaluation criteria follow the description on "the Guide to Degree Program" of the Graduate School for the current academic year.
Course Requirements It is required to bring a notebook computer for the exercise.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Follow the assignment instruction by the instructor.
