Outline and Purpose of the Course Seminar on advanced analysis of forest and natural resource economics and policy. Includes timber market, forest production analysis, non-market valuation of forests, experimental analysis on forest owners, national park management and conservation of biodiversity.
Course Goals Develop expertise in environmental and forest-related problems. This course will equip students with the economic theories and econometric analytical techniques needed to analyze environmental and forest-related problems.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Grading will be based on an overall evaluation of criteria such as attendance, the number of reports, and comments made during class.

Course Requirements Basic knowledge of forest policy and forestry economics is required. If you have not studied these subjects, please take related courses or read basic literature in advance.
