Outline and Purpose of the Course | This course is intended for Master's course students, and aims to understand various aspects of Genetics, especially Plant Genetics. | ||
Course Goals | Course goals are to obtain the ability to present data, and to understand various fields of genetics research. | ||
Schedule and Contents | Presenters are to choose recent academic papers and present the contents of the articles in details, including research backgrounds, materials and methods, results. The chosen papers should have a high impact factor. All the participants discuss the presented subjects. The participants also report their own research progress. | ||
Evaluation Methods and Policy | Based on the attendance and the quality of presentation. Refer to '2017 Guide to Degree Programs' for attainment levels of evaluation. | ||
Course Requirements | It is desired to have the knowledge of Genetics. | ||
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) | It is desirable to read papers on genetics constantly. |
