Outline and Purpose of the Course | Students attending this lecture are required to have a basic knowledge of intermediate microeconomics and econometrics. The main objective of this subject is to cultivate students' comprehensive abilities to examine the economic and social problems regarding food, agriculture, and the environment. The issues addressed in the lecture are shown specifically in the class plan below. With the help of the fundamental theory of microeconomics and econometrics, students are able to learn the basic concepts and analytical methods that are indispensable for conducting empirical studies and receiving a master's degree in the filed of natural resource economics. | ||

(2) International trade theory Comparative advantage, economic growth and comparative disadvantage in agriculture (3) Analysis of factor markets Land and labor markets (4) Agriculture and the national economies technological progress, and interregional difference in productivity.
