Outline and Purpose of the Course This course is intended for Master's course students, and aims to understand various aspects of Genetics, especially Plant Genetics.
Course Goals Course goals are to obtain the ability to present data, and to understand various fields of genetic research.
Schedule and Contents Presenters are to choose recent academic papers and present the contents of the articles in details, including research backgrounds, materials and methods, results. The chosen papers should have a high impact factor. All the participants discuss the presented subjects. The participants also report their own research progress.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Based on the attendance and the quality of presentation. Refer to '2017 Guide to Degree Programs' for attainment levels of evaluation.
Course Requirements It is desired to have the knowledge of Genetics.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) It is desirable to read papers on genetics constantly.
