Outline and Purpose of the Course Students are to conduct Plant Genetics experiments to submit Master thesis.
Course Goals Course goals are to obtain the ability to conduct experiment, write scientific papers and present experimental data.
Schedule and Contents By conducting their own research experimetns, students systematically acquire the knowledge and experimental techniques necessary for Plant Genetics research, with guidance of their thesis advisors. The theme and schedule of their research experiment will be determined at the beginning of the Master course.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Based on student's attitude toward research and the quality of thesis. Refer to '2017 Guide to Degree Programs' for attainment levels of evaluation.
Course Requirements It is desired to have the knowledge of Genetics.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) It is desirable to read papers on genetics research constantly.
