Outline and Purpose of the Course The student should learn basic experimental skills through various experiments including animal treatment, quantitative analysis of nutrients and matabolites containing in animal organs. Teaching staffs will instruct the series of experiments.
Course Goals Read and understand academic papers and other publications related to the theoretical background and the current state of research around the world that are necessary to conduct research. Learn the experimental techniques necessary to conduct research.
Schedule and Contents The objective of this course is to:
Explain the methodologies and instruments employed in nutritional chemical experiments; Provide instructions on how to search for and read research papers; Assign each student a specific topic related to nutritional chemistry; Explain the key points of the background and the current state of research for each topic. Provide instructions and advice on how to conduct experimental research; Guide students on how to analyze and make observations on the results obtained; Explain the key points to consider when writing a research paper from experimental results; Provide students with the theories, skills and knowledge necessary to conduct research in nutritional chemistry through these experiments.

Feedback will be performed through group discussion among the instructors and students.
Evaluation Methods and Policy  Grading will be based on an overall assessment of attendance and the quality of reports on the assigned topics.

Course Requirements Basic experimental skills related to nutritional science and biochemistry are required.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Seek opportunities to attend conferences and study group meetings, and learn through first-hand experience the current trends in your research fields and what it takes to be a scholar.
