Outline and Purpose of the Course Students master the necessary laboratory techniques for research in the development of new culture methods and cultivars by using various crops in the Experimental Farm.
Course Goals Students will develop the skills to prepare a detailed experiment plan, conduct accurate investigative and analytical experiments, and examine the results from a logical perspective.
Schedule and Contents ?Development of cultivation experiment methods for rice, wheat, citrus fruits, persimmons, and tomatoes (15 sessions)
?Development of statistical analysis methods for cultivation experiment results (3 sessions)
?Mastery of the basics of genetic experiments, DNA analysis skills, gene expression analysis techniques, and techniques for using a gene database (12 sessions)
Evaluation Methods and Policy Grading will be based on an overall assessment of class performance and reports.
