Outline and Purpose of the Course Students select the scientific papers related with their research theme and make a presentation and discuss about the content of papers.
Course Goals ?Be able to understand the current developments in research and read previous studies critically;
?Acquire the skills necessary to pursue originality and to pay attention to the key components of a research paper, including logic, structure, and style.
Schedule and Contents Introduction of research papers and in-class reading of an academic book (24 sessions)
 
 Students will individually read several scientific papers published in academic journals in English that are related to their research theme, prepare a clear summary, and give a presentation and hold Q&A session in class in reference to their research project. In addition, students will take turns reading an academic book written in English in class, and understand its content and enhance their understanding of relevant knowledge.


Report of research projects (6 sessions)

 Students will report the methods and outcomes of their research project, and discuss relevant issues and future plans.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation will be based on class performance (30 points), presentation summaries (40 points), and comprehension of an academic book (30 points).
