The current state and utilization of food and feedstock around the world Students will read a variety of publications on issues related to food and feedstock, and discuss them in class. The current state of feeding practice and management of livestock and approaches to improvement Students will read the most current studies on the production and use of livestock around the world and discuss them in class. Modeling and simulation of livestock production systems Students will read recently published studies involving the modeling and simulation of a livestock production system and discuss them in class. The current state and utilization of food, feedstock, and genetic resources in tropical and subtropical zones Students will read a wide variety of publications on various issues surrounding food and feedstock of livestock in tropical and subtropical zones and discuss them in class.
