Outline and Purpose of the Course Numerical analysis for water flow phenomenon is useful in water use. In this course, governing equations for water flow and the discretization schemes are explained. Main objective of the course is to provide students the basic knowledge about the numerical analysis for water flow phenomenon.
Course Goals Students will be able to:
(1) Derive governing equations for water flow.
(2) Explain the discretization schemes.
(3) Discretize the governing equations.
Schedule and Contents 1. Numerical method for fluid flow
2. Groundwater flow in Dogo plain
3. Groundwater flow analysis in Dogo plain
4. Non-Darcy flow through porous media
5. Numerical analysis for non-Darcy flow
6. Tidal current analysis in coastal area
7. Habitat evaluation in coastal area
8. Summaries
Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation will be based on the report.
