Outline and Purpose of the Course Students will gain an understanding of the individual traits of the ecology, societies, and cultures rooted in the region, as well as learning the fieldwork techniques for discovering research issues in the contemporary problems that the region is facing.

Schedule and Contents As the students proceed with their on-site fieldwork, faculty members will provide practical advice as needed.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Students will be evaluated on their active efforts in their fieldwork and the degree to which they achieve their goals.
