Outline and Purpose of the Course In this practicum, each student independently learns empirical research related to labor economics. First, you will select some of the major research issues in labor economics and read the relevant textbook sections. Next, you will investigate the literature related to the research issues and examine journal articles. The aim is to deepen your expertise in labor economics and touch on the latest research results.
Course Goals Learn recent findings related to labor economics.
Schedule and Contents Students consult with a professor to determine research topics according to their interests, and present and discuss related textbook sections.

Week 1: Setting research themes
Weeks 2-14: Review of labor economics and examination of related research
Week 15: Summary
Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation is based on participation points (class participation and presentation).
Course Requirements You must have successfully completed labor economics. Econometrics must be completed or completion should be expected.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Focus on the issues as instructed during the classes and prepare for the next presentation.
