Outline and Purpose of the Course For each school year, themes related to microeconomics and behavioral finance are determined, and in-depth theoretical considerations are added to those themes.
Course Goals By obtaining a high level of understanding of microeconomic theory and its applications, the aim is to help the student by providing a point of reference when considering graduate school.
Schedule and Contents The course will proceed through reviews of references and other materials. For the first semester of this school year, we will consider the fundamentals of decision-making theory and asset pricing theory.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Students are evaluated on their attendance and presentations in the seminars. Reports submission may also be required.
Course Requirements Students should have completed "Microeconomics 1" and "Microeconomics 2" in their second year. It is desirable to have completed "Macroeconomics 1 & 2."
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Learn about [Strategy: An Introduction to Game Theory by
Joel Watson (W. W. Norton & Company)] by the first seminar. Read the references before each class.
