Outline and Purpose of the Course While our lives and corporate activities are exposed to a variety of risks, insurance is one of the key mechanisms for handling these risks.
In this lecture, students will first learn basic terms about insurance and their economic explanations. Then, company business partners invited as guest speakers will thoroughly discuss the current state of the insurance industry, practical topics, changes in the business environment, and how to respond to them. Guest speakers will be invited from Nippon Life Insurance Company and Sumitomo Mitsui Co., Ltd.

Deepening understanding of the current situation and issues of life insurance and non-life insurance.

The contents of lectures from companies from the 3rd to the 12th are those of the last academic year. More information about this year will be announced after the course begins.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Reaction sheet in guest speaker lectures (50%): Reaction sheets will be distributed during the third lecture and for the subsequent guest speakers. Students are expected to write their impressions, opinions, and questions about the content of the lecture and will be evaluated on the content.
