Outline and Purpose of the Course Political Economy investigates into the main features and movements of modern economy from the viewpoint of the social reproduction. It differs from the mainstream academic economics that is based on the individual rationality and market Equilibrium (i. e. neo-classical economics) considerablly.Modern political economy on the one side inherits the basic view from classical economics and marxian economics, on the other side it integrates modern view of Keynesian macro-economics as well as various streams of institutional economics, It now revives as an integrative evolutionary political economy. This course proceeds from ist basic elements to their Integration in a system view borrowing the Framework of Marxian System.
