Outline and Purpose of the Course Lectures on standard intermediate-level macroeconomics.
This class covers the contents of Volume I of the textbook, and the second part, Macroeconomics 2, addresses the contents of Volume II. Specifically, after learning important macroeconomic variables such as GDP, students will learn various models for understanding macroeconomic fluctuations and analyzing the economic impact of shocks and policies. Students will learn about open economy and economic growth in Macroeconomics 2.
Course Goals Being able to understand the concepts and theories of macroeconomics and analyze the economic impact of policies and shocks using models. Students will acquire the ability to understand and analyze real macroeconomic fluctuations.

Week 11: Application of IS-LM Model, Derivation of Aggregate Demand Curve (Chapter 9)
Week 12: Derivation of Aggregate Supply Curve (Chapter 10)
Week 13: Short-Run Trade-off Between Inflation and Unemployment (Chapter 10)

Week 14: Impacts of Covid-19 on Macroeconomy
