Outline and Purpose of the Course |
Theme: Understanding management and economic activities in the real world based on various management theories. This course aims to explain management and economic activities in modern society from the perspective of management theory. Students will learn about the history and various theories of management. The course will examine how various economic activities are designed using the examples of agricultural management and the food industry. First, this course will examine the responses in business management to the simultaneous progress of large-scale business expansion and diversification in modern agricultural management. Students will gain a theoretical understanding of business management that helps improve production technology, the efficiency of internal human management and distribution and sales activities, and stakeholder relationships. Using the food industry example, we will imagine various food business operators from upstream to downstream of the food chain and examine the state and issues of their business management. The main topics are the vertical integration of food business operators, establishing business relationships, and business management related to product development, production, processing, and sales activities under changes in the distribution and structures of consumption. |
