Outline and Purpose of the Course Students will acquire the physicochemical basis of the change of substances seen in life phenomena and the velocity process related to transportation.
Course Goals Be able to understand physical chemistry, which is extremely important for life science-related research and industry contributions.
Schedule and Contents From cell proliferation to gene replication, kinetic processes based on chemical reactions are deeply involved in life phenomena. Understand essential matters related to chemical reaction kinetics and biochemical reactions. Also, understand the physicochemical basics of the movement of substances (e.g., diffusion, electrophoresis, centrifugal sedimentation) and biological membrane transport processes.
