Outline and Purpose of the Course |
Knowledge of the atmospheric environment is not only relevant to environmental problems such as global warming and air quality deterioration, but also necessary for considering countermeasures for agricultural and meteorological disasters such as cold damage and drought that have a significant impact on agriculture. The concept of heat balance, which is the basis of global temperature formation, the atmospheric circulation that affects weather, and the meteorological disasters related to agriculture and their countermeasures will be described. In addition, a simple model for understanding the dynamics of atmospheric chemicals will be explained, and the basic concept of a method for modeling some phenomena will be learned. |

Course Goals | By understanding basic matters related to the atmosphere and meteorology, students acquire the ability to consider weather, greenhouse effect, extreme climate event, agricultural meteorological disasters, and dynamics of atmospheric chemicals. | ||
