RU11 Symposium “The Role of Universities in the Aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake”
BNCT (Boron Neutron Capture Therapy) as the Most Advanced Tool for Cancer Treatment Koji Ono (Research Reactor Institute, Kyoto University)
This symposium aims to explore the ways in which the efforts of research universities can best contribute to the recovery process in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami disaster of March 11, 2011, and the subsequent nuclear disaster at the Fukushima I(Daiichi)Nuclear Power Plant.
The symposium is organized by Kyoto University in association with RU11, a consortium of eleven of Japan’s leading research universities. The symposium is open to the general public and admission is free of charge. Advance reservations are not required.
The language of the symposium is English. International students and researchers are particularly welcome.
