授業の概要・目的 The purpose of this class is to learn about basic tools and analytical perspectives in management of business development related to themes such as business development process, business model, monetization and ecosystems for launching new business as an entrepreneur.
到達目標 We position this class as a subject for acquiring fundamental understanding and analytical abilities regarding business development. Students learn the basic knowledge with regard to (1) method and process of business development, (2) functional elements for business development, (3) environment for business development. Through the group project to create and pitch the business plan, students can link the knowledge provided in the class with practical skills.
授業計画と内容 Students discuss the subject of the week in the first half of each class. Lecture on the subject will be provided in the second half. Students are required to read materials and reference books distributed beforehand and to prepare answers for the discussion questions in advance for the presented subjects. Active participation in class is required.

成績評価の方法・観点 Participants prepare answers on tasks every time to attend classes and participate in discussions. Students are required to participate in more than two-thirds (8 or more) classes and submit the end-term report. Evaluation will be done as follows; attendance and participation - 50%, end-term report - 50%.
