Outline and Purpose of the Course The purpose of this course is to review the recent literature on human resource management (HRM) and discuss potential future research and practical implications.
Course Goals Understanding of the recent topics in the HRM research
Understanding of the major theories of HRM
Understanding of the methodologies used in the HRM research
Obtaining skills to develop a research proposal on HRM issues
Applying the academic knowledge of the HRM field to management practice

Evaluation Methods and Policy Based on class participation (20%), presentations and discussion (50%), and a term paper (30%)
Course Requirements The ability to read and understand the English academic articles
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Read assigned articles and prepare for class discussion.
