Outline and Purpose of the Course The Japanese Archipelago is surrounded by the sea and we have effectively utilized the marine resources since ancient age. However, recently there are various problems such as deterioration of marine environment and over-exploitation of the marine resources. This lecture is focused on investigation and coservation of fish and marine mammals to discuss the relationship between the environment and marine organisms.
Course Goals To understand advanced topics on the Fisheries and Environmental Oceanography, and to learn basic knowledge reqruied for research topics of each student.
