Outline and Purpose of the Course The course covers statistical analysis, growth and lactation curve analysis, system modeling, development of farm models and animal breeding model. All participants may read many published research papers and review the papers.
Schedule and Contents 2-3 weeks of classes are planned for each of the topics covered in this course, including the following:

1. Basics of statistics
2. Basics of programming
3. Growth curve and lactation curve
4. System modeling
5. Development of farm models
6. Examination of beef cattle breeding models
Evaluation Methods and Policy Grading will be based on reports and class performance. Quizzes may be given from time to time.
Course Requirements Completion of an undergraduate biological statistics course is desirable.
