Outline and Purpose of the Course The objective of this course is to cultivate comprehensive Dutch language skills.
Course Goals Aim to reach the CEFR level of B1.
Schedule and Contents We will start with explanations of elementary level grammar (Weeks 1-5), and do drills to improve speaking and listening skills (Weeks 6-10). We will aim for a level that will allow students to challenge themselves with specialized texts (Weeks 11-15). Students are expected to participate enthusiastically regardless of their area of specialization.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Basically based on class participation. Active participation in class is preferable.
