Outline and Purpose of the Course Lab for basic psychology experiments. This lab is for learning various research techniques of experimental psychology through specific tasks, following Psychology Lab IA.
Course Goals Learn developmental research techniques for experimental psychology.
Schedule and Contents Learn further developmental and practical research techniques for experimental psychology used in the literature department, based on basic research techniques learned in Psychology Lab IA. Content consists of experiments assigned to each student from the 1st to 14th week sessions covering perception, cognition, comparative cognition, and cognitive development, each of which will help gain a foothold for drafting protocols for specialized psychology experiments (Lab III) . The 15th week session will be spent on review and feedback. Experiment content will sometimes be determined based on the latest research findings at the time.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Performance (including attendance and regular papers).
Course Requirements In principle, students shall be specializing in psychology or double-majoring.
In principle, they shall have taken Psychology Lab IA
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Papers shall be assigned at each class session, and should be fully completed. In addition, students should closely read related literature as needed.
