Outline and Purpose of the Course Superconducting materials is one kind of substance without resistance at certain conditions. This course is an introduction from the discovery, elementary properties, developments situation, and some important applications in modern society. It is intended to equip students with a basic understanding of superconductivity, characteristics of various superconductors and advantages of application. It also aims to encourage students to do active conversation about scientific concept in English.
Course Goals This course aims to equip students with basic understanding of the superconducting materials, including superconducting phenomena, properties and applications. Characteristics of various types superconductors and basic concepts of superconductivity will be comprehended.
