Outline and Purpose of the Course 顔による個人の識別は、私たちの日常生活のあらゆる場面で重視されるだけでなく、セキュリティや司法の場面、ヒトと機械の協調場面でも大きな要素として扱われています。この講読演習では、Markus Bindemannがまとめた『Forensic Face Matching: Research and Practice』を取り上げ、顔認知の理論を構築するためのフレームワークとその知見が実際のどのような場面で活かされているのかについて学びます。演習を通じて、心理学で研究されてきた理論とその応用の可能性について、顔認知を題材に、議論をしながら理解を深めることを目的とします。
Course Goals 英語論文を一人で読むスキルの基礎を得ます。
プレゼンテーションの技法について習得します。
顔認知の基礎的知識とその応用に関する知識を習得します。
質問をする力、問題発見能力を養います。
Schedule and Contents 第1週目は、演習講義の進め方の説明と担当範囲の決定を行います。
第2週目以降は、各章の担当者(発表者)がパワーポイントスライドを用いてプレゼンテーションを行った後、全員でディスカッションを行います。

Evaluation Methods and Policy 発表の内容(70%)、各章の内容に対するディスカッション(30%)によって評価します。

到達目標との関連性として、
発表の内容によって「英語論文を一人で読むスキル」と「プレゼンテーションの技法」を評価します。ディスカッションによって「顔認知の基礎的知識とその応用に関する知識の習得」と「質問をする力、問題発見能力」を評価します。
Course Requirements None
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) 授業期間の間に、2回程度の発表をしてもらいます。
発表者は、その章の内容を熟読し、簡潔にまとめて発表してください。
授業参加者は、その章の内容を事前に読み、内容に対する意見や質問を授業の際に発言して、ディスカッションに参加してください。
