Outline and Purpose of the Course The aim is to experience the research method in the context of food and environmental economics and fieldwork in a food/agricultural/rural area. Teaching is delivered in small groups, focusing on the practical using the field divided by methodology that characterizes each educational research field. The course builds on practical work from the previous semester and concludes practical work.
Course Goals To develop the ability to formulate original ideas and methodology, while critically absorbing existing theory and concept.
Schedule and Contents  The course builds on tasks pursued in practical work I (D247) in the first semester.
 At the end of the course, all fields will participate in an end-of-year conference and report on and discuss what has been learned (throughout the academic year).
Evaluation Methods and Policy Assessment is based on class participation/attitude, contribution to practical work, and report writing, as well as the presentation at the end-of-year conference.

Course Requirements ・Students are asked to continue with the same field as in the first semester.
