授業の概要・目的 This course is offered by Assistant Professor Debjani Ghosh (Sunway University)

This course aims to improve students understanding of human behavior in organizations and the ability to lead people to achieve more effectively toward increased organizational performance. This course provides a comprehensive analysis of individual and group behavior in organizations. Its purpose is to provide an understanding of how organizations can be managed more effectively and at the same time enhance the quality of employees work life. Topics include motivation, rewarding behavior, individual and group behavior, power and politics, leadership, decisionmaking, and communication.l processes.
到達目標 After completing this course, students should be able to:
・Understand individual behavior in organizations, including diversity, attitudes, job satisfaction, emotions, moods, personality, perception, decision making, and motivational theories.
・Understand group behavior in organizations, including communication, motivation, team, leadership, and power and politics,
・Understand the organizational system, including organizational structures and culture
・Understand your own management style as it relates to influencing and managing behavior in the organization systems.
・Enhance critical thinking and analysis skills through the use of management case studies, personal application papers and small group exercises.

成績評価の方法・観点 Lecture, examples, short exercises and case studies. This course will require personal work in addition to the class hours. Evaluation will be based on the capabilities to understand the main issues in the domain of
organizational behavior and interpret some simplified examples from "real life".
