国際通貨論
授業の特色
ユーロの誕生とともに、米ドル中心の国際通貨体制は新たな局面を迎えている。ドル圏に加えユーロ圏が拡大する一方、現在東アジアには地域通貨圏と呼びうるものは存在しない。今後アジア危機の再発を防ぎ、地域経済の持続的安定成長を確保するために、欧州の経験を教訓に、東アジアにおける通貨体制のあり方と日本の役割を探る。
秋学期（国際通貨論I:10月―1月）は、経済通貨同盟（EMU）成立に至るまでの欧州統合の動き、ユーロ地域における経済政策の特色、およびユーロの国際通貨体制に及ぼすインパクトを中心テーマとする。春学期（国際通貨論II:4月―7月）においては、中国の通貨の現状と問題点、アジア通貨危機の原因と対応策、アジアに地域通貨圏を作るうえでの日本の役割などを議論する。
